The emphasis is mainly on the quality of angling here at Willow Pool and we do not claim to offer 5 star luxuries, due mainly to the fact that the lakes are situated in an area of outstanding beauty and no building is permitted. Saying that we have done all possible to ensure you have everything required for your trip including:

- Sole use of the lakeside fishing lodge equipped with fridge, gas hob, kitchenette, dining table & chairs.

- A large stone patio area overlooking the main lake with brick BBQ complete with stone table & chairs.

- On-site toilet and hot shower.

Due to the absence of habitable accommodation these trips are aimed mainly at parties of anglers and not non-angling guests, this is simply because generally wives and girlfriends prefer the luxury of a comfy bed. However there is a good priced hotel 5 minutes drive from the lake so this may be something you want to think about, maybe even if the thought of the bivvy for 7 nights seems too much and you want a night off!

With no mains services to the lake we are pleased that we have provided all the neccesary services by harnessing the elements i.e solar panels providing electricity, filtered rain water for showering and a composting toilet. Preserving the natural unspoilt surroundings is something we are very committed to, as you will hopefully find out for yourselves when you visit.
